Saturday we had our first few Blackbookers runners and they didn’t disgrace running unlucky second and a third. We were that impressed they are staying in the blackbook. See below.
We are all about being easy to understand and transparent at YTP.
So we will keep track of blackbook runners. We will no be keeping a tally of “Units” like some others, which make the loses not look as bad or manipulated.
We deal in real money and marketed toward the average punter. So each of our blackbook runner will be $10 each way, a total spend of $20. Once they have run, unless mention again they are no longer in the blackbook, but feel free to keep following them.
So after Saturday our total is $43.50 from a $40 outlay.
RANDWICK 17/07/21
Track Condition: Heavy8
R2 1200m class2: 2. ANETHOLE was our first blackbook runner with an unlucky 3rd paying ($2.10) and its safe to say that just like last time, this horse should have pissed in if it weren’t for a very very poorly judged ride this time from Tommy Sherry. He had a lap full of horse but just couldn’t get clear running and got out late to savage the line running third but anyone who watched the race will tell you, it should have won. Get on next start no matter where it is!
R6 1200m Bm72: 6. JUST FIELD returned 2 weeks after going into our blackbook and what a sight she gave. Sherry didn’t do her any favours, settling in the back half of the field on a heavy track and having her boxed in on the fence. Come the turn she had to move some horses out the way to then start her run down the outside of the straight. When the leader got an easy time on the fence to win. Hit the line well for second paying $2.25. Loves the soft ground and surely the right ride will get a win soon.
EAGLE FARM 17/07/21
Track Condition: Good4
R7 1400m Class 3: 3. MR WONG (4/11) has been sent to his new home from Sydney to sunny Queensland. We have always had an opinion of this fellow. Appears to have a few quirks but has ability. Slow out the gates and hung out rounding the turn and the field. Looked that they wanted to ride him quietly with one last sprint. With the way the track was favouring leaders all day he made nice ground down the outside finishing 4th. Should go alright in Brissy.
R8 1200m 3yo: 9. BUNDYANDCOKE (4/9l Settled last in a field of nine. Started his run at the 600m mark. Got held up in the straight and had to change direction to get clear running. Which he did late and hit the line hard for fourth.
