R1 #14 Situation Room (Win) $4.80 – One of the best for the day. Light weight, on pace with a good barrier and should be right there at the finish.
R2 #1 Getty (Win) $3 – Most we’re ridden out hard to win their trial to get a start in the race, Getty ran good time and looked to do it easily. Will be on pace and will be of advantage early on in the day. 10 and 11 are intriguing runners.
R3 #4 Big Boy Roy (Win) $4.40 – Big Roy has the right race pattern and is proven with race fitness.
R4 #13 Hidden Wealth (E/W) $7- Couple of tough ones to beat but the field drops away quickly – On the up and looks well placed.
R5 #1 Kiku (Win) $3.70 – This is the target race, over 1300m suits with solid pace throughout.
R6 No Bet – King of Sparta very hard to beat but not for me at $1.80.
R7 #11 Croatian Belle (E/W) $23/$6 Best Value – Expecting the leaders to burn themselves out of this particularly with a few drawing wide. Croatian Belle has come into this under the radar, Empire of Japan hardest to beat.
R8 #4 Tijuana (E/W) $13/$3.60 – Taken on some really good races with form being strong. Drawn well and will appreciate good ground with solid pace on.
R9 #5 Oscar Zulu (Win) $3.40 Best Bet – Very confident with a fast tempo Oscar Zulu will be winning here. In well at the weights, fresh with McDonald on…. Sign me up.
R10 #1 Ef Troop (Win) $4.60 – Found a good race here, only the barrier a bit of a concern. Alpine Edge and Wisdom of Water the ones to beat here, field drops away pretty quick.
