Race1 – Box Quinella with #1 Starman, #3 Frosty Mango & #9 Manhood. Confident Manhood is the one here, but the other 2 can pop up and they are a big chance for the Quinella and possibly trifecta. Odds are enough to have the exotics as an option.

Race 2 #2 Sir Rocket ($1.75)

The form around him is very strong, well back in weight, enjoys rain affected and at his home track makes him one of the best of the day.

Race 3 #12 Spiritualised E/W if he gets a run (emergency currently) Huge odds, well worth a go…. Wants soft preferably instead of heavy. If not, #8 Hell I Am ($3.30) with no real confidence very wary of Swiss Exile and Stupendo.

Race 4– 2 HORSE PLAY: #2 Perfect Mission ($5.50) and #11 Honey Pot ($5)

Concede chances to Miss Hellfire and Stroll but Honey Pot has great ability (please don’t miss the jump by 5 lengths again) and Perfect Mission highly touted by her trainer and this is her target race with conditions in her favour. Pace to be strong which helps both horses here.

Race 5 – Would be all over #1 She Can Sing ($4.80) but the barrier seems a problem here, but I see it out of her and #2 Lady of Luxury. If they were $5 plus the 2 horse play would be strong, I’ll stick with She Can Sing and hope for a 10/10 ride from Thompson.

Race 6 – #5 Palladas ($2) if soft or better one of the best of the day. Very well weighted at set weights and maps perfectly. If heavy small bets on #1 The Ritz and #4 Mishani Fraudster.

Race 7 – #1 Lord Ardmore ($3.10) has the form lines around Huetor and Mightybeel and that’s good enough here. Long prep a slight worry but would trust Waller. #9 StarElle a great chance also but doesn’t know how to win (watch her win by 4 now) and #17 Good Soize ($126/$14) if here (emergency currently) a sneaky E/W play at big odds.

Race 8 – #6 The Move ($3.80)

Best of the day if Soft or better, but I doubt that would be the case. If heavy, one of our favourites #5. King Klaus is a great E/W bet on the minimum over 900m. 

Race 9 – Keen on #7 Mass Destruction ($3.50) here while #14 Glitter Strip ($5.50) is also an E/W bet here. Both on the rise, with the race pattern to suit and conditions are fine for both. 

Best Bet R8 No 6The Move (If soft) or R2 No 2 Sir Rocket (Heavy)

Best Value R3 No 12 Spiritualised (if it gains a run, emergency currently) or R8 No 5 King Klaus.

Race 6 #8 FLEET DOVE ($10/$2.80)

Not overly sold on the map but Collett is starting to gain a little momentum. I can’t wrap my head around the disparities in prices with some of these coming out of the tatts last week. I thought her run was as good as any of them, if not better. If collet can find a spot early and trail the speed this horse is a proper winning hope. BEST ew

Couldn’t catch this bloke last prep. Wins 3/6 and I’ve unloaded on the 3 losses. Anyway we start fresh here. Liked the way he’s trialed and think he’s come back a more furnished race horse this time. Missed the kick in a recent trial but its the sort of horse that gets back and is ridden for luck anyway. Not sure what really to expect here first up, however, if ready, does have the talent to win. Small win
