With less then a month to go in the 2021 MLB baseball season, there is no clear winner in sight.

With no more then twenty games to go for each franchise. One thing is assured is that the San Francisco Giants are already there, clinching a post season appearance with a win over the San Diego Padres.  Making it their eighth consecutive win in this streak. Giants currently $6 with Tab to win.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are travelling nicely, in their attempt to defend last year’s long awaited title. Just read that they have also now guaranteed a finals berth after beating Arizona Diamondbacks today. They are two wins behind the giants. On a five game winning streak. Currently $4.25 favourites.

The next few weeks are vital for the franchises who are likely to be in their divisional play off’s.  The San Diego Padres were looking likely for a wild card entry but have not taken opportunities and with a hard run home may be past their reach.  Cincinnati Reds have an easier run home and could make the wild card games and the current $51 will be halved. Same goes for the New York Yankees currently $23 to win and should be first franchise into the wild card race. If the Toronto Blue Jay’s bat keeps firing it would not be a surprise. As you can see, several teams will be fighting out for the wild card spots.

The Milwaukee Brewers have also caught the eye this season and have been super impressive. They win their division with a leg in the air. Currently second favourite at $5.50 to win the World Series. 

If you are a supporter of any of the teams I’ve mentioned or follow the:, Astro’s, Tampa Bay, Braves or White Sox, they are all value bets leading into the back end of the season. We are on the juicy $6 on offer for the Giants. Will be back post season for our playoff predictions.

Saturday took us to Royal Randwick, away from a second-tier track, such as Kembla Grange. What a great day it was for YTP Blackbook followers with JAMAEA saluting only just, at very juicy odds !!!  With the in form Brock Ryan taking advantage of a pick up ride due to the suspension of Tommy Berry, and he rode her beautifully.  Jumping from an awkward gate and under light rain, he let her drop back to second last, allowing her to settle. She was last on the turn and he pulled her out wide down the straight.  Like we said in a preview to her last run where she was saying “look at me”. She didn’t disappoint with a brilliant turn of foot and timed run to get the prize on the post. She payed $21 fixed odds and $17 on the tote.  She is a classy filly and now one of our favourites.

Snowdrop ran at Eagle Farm and didn’t show her zip like she did three weeks earlier.  She will win races but have to watch for now until she shows something.

For those who do follow us, you all would have seen one of our previous Winners, Top Order salute again at $13.  We hope some of you were on.  We took him out thinking he was due for a spell.

As you can see our bank is travelling along nicely.  As we are modest at YTP and don’t play with units, with our $10 each way plays.  We see some other mobs out there try to say their tips are $100 a unit. Some being unrealistic we’d have $46k in the bank with a $26k spend.  If we all had that to spend on the punt we wouldn’t be here.  Pull the other one fella’s.
